[1000mp] Ft1000 MP Value?

I am glad you decided to keeep the ft-1000mp.  I love
that radio.  I have a friends and I am trying to
decide to buy it or keep it.  Tough decision. 

I like that rig a hell of a lot better than the Mark
V.

BTW  I have sold radios including a 1000mp  and you
get a lot more if you separate the filters from the
radio along with the other accessories.  Sure folks
want to see the whole thing sold as a package because
they want to get all of it at a cheaper price. 
However the accessories sell at strong prices when you
sell them individually.  The radio was going somewhere
around 1200 or so on  eBay or one of the other online
classifieds.  

If I had a choice I would go with the original 1000mp
over my Mark V.  AND the Mark V will only go for about
1700 bare bones used or so on the market.
