Jon,
There are suggested keying and PTT schematics in the printable user's guide
that came as a PDF file with DX4WIN. In mine, for Version 6, it's in Chapter
11. Other versions will probably be similar. Don't be put off by the need
for a transistor; you can solder the transistor and resistor directly to the
pins of a DB connector and enclose the whole thing in the backshell. There's
also a section in the HELP menu: "Help|Search|CW Keying circuit" . The
user's guide (157 pages) is well worth the time to print out as hardcopy; it
includes stuff that's too extensive for the 'HELP' menu.
