[1000mp] Observations of W8JI Noise Blanker Mod

I didn't hear any difference after I made the mod.  Then again since I 
didn't know what difference the mod was suppose to do anyway.  Why did I 
make it? Since I had the rig apart and had already made the keyclick mod, 
put in the roofing filter and etc. what's one more resistor?

I installed the W8JI noise blanker mod a few days ago and have since noticed 
a significant difference in the noise floor when turning the NB off and on. 
When switching it on, the noise floor gets noticeably louder compared to the 
off position. If I turn the NB level down, then the difference is less 
significant.

I am guessing that this is the difference that the mod made and the lower 
noise floor with the NB off is the improvement.

Just some interesting observations for others to compare to. I also have the 
roofing filter and the key-click mod installed.
