[1000mp] Using CAT to Change Sub-RX mode

No ... that is why most software sets split operation by 
setting the transmit mode (and generally frequency) on 
VFO-A and then copying A -> B (func 85h), setting the 
receive frequency and mode on VFO-A and then turning on 
dual receive and split. 

There are a couple of alternatives ... the easiest is to 
Select VFO-B (00 00 00 01 05 h - exchange VFO-A and VFO-B) 
write the new mode to VFO-A and exchange the VFOs again. 

Unfortunately, this missing CAT command effects all of the 
FT-1000 family (FT-1000/D/MP/MKV and Field).  It also 
appears to effect "VFO-B" in the FT-990 and FT-920 even 
though they do not have separate (dual) receive capability.
