Dear Noel

I have installed the roofing filter in my Mark v model, last october.

Most of the time went to take off the up and lower metal case, with the
markv you need to take off side panels also.

Soldering can be done , you need :
- good eye sight
- enough light : min. 500 lux.
- steady hands
- solder iron 20 to 30 watt with a small tip
Soldering is done in an area with normal components, no smd components.

If you have ever built and soldered a kit you can do it.

Putting in the roofing filter is easy, to put in the 2 nylon stand-off feet
push and turn on the same time.
coax connecting is well explained in the instructions.

If you want I have a picture of the installed filter, answer me directly.

Needed time : disassembling, soldering, building in, reassambling,....
about 1 hour if all the tools are ready and if you have read the
instructions twice.
