Lou,
You have RFI in the shack and it's making the rig reset.

I encountered a very peculiar issue operating 10M with my amplifier
(Alpha 87A) today. The Mark V would reset all frequencies to default
(28000, 21000, etc) without warning, and the processor and class A
switches were turned off as well. I thought I had an issue with RF
getting into my computer and back into the radio as I was using a
logging program, but after putting chokes on the various lines, and
ultimately unhooking the RS232 line from the computer to the Mark V, I
had the same issue. This problem only shows up while running the amp on
10M, and even then, not immediately or with any consistency; rather, it
will happen suddenly. When using the Mark V with the amp on other bands,
or operating on 10M without the amp, it is fine.
I am puzzled and have no idea what to do (other than not run the amp on
10M). I've used my amp many times on 10M and have never had this issue
before. Has anybody experienced this before or have any ideas what
might be going on?
