[1000mp] Sub receiver filter question

I swapped the stock 500 for an Inrad 250. I use the sub Rx for chasing
mults on the same band I'm transmitting on in contests. Because I'm not
very good at decoding 2 different sets of cw signals, one in one ear and
one in the other, I find the 250 helps a lot to reduce the QRM and am
very pleased that I did it.
Those who suggest that the 250 is too narrow for use in split pileups
are probably right but my main interest is contesting. Chacun a son
escargot.
