[1000mp] FT-1000 MK & FTV-1000

Hi Everyone,

I just took possession of an FTV-1000 which I've hooked up exactly as the 
manual recommends and so far everything seems to be working fine.

I am however primarily an HF Contester, and I use a fairly high level of 
station automation.

What I'd like to know, if anyone is using this combination -- is whether the 
second 8-pin Band output connector on the FTV-1000 passes through the band 
information from the FT1Kmp.

Put another way, can I simply run my existing band-decoders from this second 
output or do I have to disconnect the FTV-1000 everytime I need to use my 
whole bandpass filter/antenna switching set-up.
