Hi Rob :
  With regard to the monitor , using your setup, the next step is to 
press SUB then NOR, monitor will then be 6K .If you want to go one step 
further  The camels hump audio response can be fixed by changing : 
R3016,R3017 from 10k to 2.2k and C3033 from 10uf to 100uf.on the AF 
board page75 in service manual.
2RX:  R8046,R8047 from 10k to 2.2k,and C8033from 22uf to 100uf. page 187 
in service manual.
Both receivers audio response then will be flat from 50hz to6k.
