[1000mp] Power supply prob??

I had a similar problem it was one of the PA`s in the mkv had went

Exactly as you described it would dim the power supply
Try disconnecting the supply from the mkv and see if the supply light goes back to normal if it does it 
will be fine and more like the pa has died
