I did a before and after measurement with a signal generator. I determined
the S-9 signal level before I installed the mod and after the mod, I had to
turn the IF gain down from 13 to 9 to achieve the same S meter reading with
the same signal input to the receiver.
BTW this level was within a few dB of 50uV for a S-9 indication.
I also made a MDS measurement as well. (Minimum Discernable Signal).
You need a stable and signal source to make this measurement. An over the
air signal is just to un-reliable.
