[1000mp] FT-1000MP panel switches not responding.

Well friends, you will be pleased to hear that the problem is indeed a 
cracked circuit board behind the main tuning knob. Unfortunately the 
crack has gone completely across the whole board and looks like a 
replacement job. As I'm in the UK, I'm not sure who would be willing to 
supply such an item, but that looks like the only course of action to 
get this radio working again.
