     After looking into the receive signal flow in the Mark V Service Manual
it states on page 4-7 that " The audio signal passing through the balanced
modulator IC Q3007 in the AF Unit, or the ssb signal of 10.24 khz is fed to
the DSP-A Unit."
     This signal passing through the balanced modulator is from the 3rd IF
(455) so the DSP is not within the IF but in the audio stage making the DSP
of the Mark V an Audio DSP.
     How do manufacturer's classify an IF DSP to an Audio DSP?
