I have found electronic versions useless for the parts location 
diagrams, because the contrasting colors are scrambled. Nothing beats 
the full-size hardcopies for that.

The hardcopy manual for my old FT-990 was a gem, but I don't yet have 
one for the MP. If work takes me to the USA next month, the genuine 
hardcopy manual will be one of my "must buys".

What's the difference between buying it by mail direct from Yaesu USA, 
or by mail from a dealer?
