[1000mp] looks like my MP went south

Right in the middle of a qso, on a good antenna.
The rig stopped transmitting.
And the meter shows high swr, full scale swr.

Put the rig on a dummy load, same thing.
The tuner has stopped tuning.
If I set the rig to 160 or 80 meters
Turn on the Tuner button and hit tune.
No output, no visual tuner action and I hear a high pitched hum.

40 meters, half power only and still no tuner action

30 meters and on, full output, but no tuner action.

On any band, turn the tuner button on and you get the WAIT light.

I've reset tuner memories but didn't expect or receive any joy.

So, what's the consensus...trip to the Yaesu Doctor?

BTW, the big fan on top left center is working.
But radio feels and smells hot.
