[1000mp] Click mod IF question

That's exactly the picture I'm comparing mine too and I seem to have a
couple of extra components there. N1JM suggested the newer Mark-V's might
come with the INRAD click mod. I don't know the specifics of that mod, but
Inrad's site does say it is three components, two on the IF board. Does
anyone know what those components are, and if newer Mark-V's might already
have it? I wonder if I need to remove the cap I added to the RF board...
That was tough to get to!
Thanks everyone!

His picture is right, but go to
http://www.remeeus.nl/english/hamradio/keyclick_nb_mod.htm and look at the
photos. I used this when I did the mod a couple weeks ago.
Good Luck

Subject: [1000mp] Click mod IF question
I'm halfway thru the click mod and I'm looking at the back of the IF board
but it doesn't look like the pictures I've seen.
I have a Mark-V SN 4I630128 purchased new in early Dec from GigaParts. There
appears to be a very tiny resister and diode in the area where the W8JI
click mod gets connected. It's very hard to tell exactly where they connect
- I have a somewhat fuzzy photograph if someone would like to look - but I
worry that something is already in place, or there has been a circuit board
mod that would interfere with the click mod. I've already installed the cap
on the RF board.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I doubt I can post a picture to the
reflector, so if anyone is interested email me direct.
Thanks and 73!
