[1000mp] Mark V high SWR with amp

If you can do this, try putting some kind of swr analyzer on the input of
your amp and your amp on a dummy load.
Key the amp to switch in the input matching circuitry and sweep the amp
input with the swr analyzer to see how flat it is or whether there is a
problem.  swap out the jumper cable to the rig with a known good cable.  if
everything checks out, it seems to me the problem has to be in the rig.  you
say the swr is full scale when you drive the amp.  that sounds like
something handling rf is completely open.  maybe something related to t/r
keying when the amp is being keyed if for example, you employ a keying loop.
it looks to me like something that is supposed to switch over when gg from
rx to tx when the amp is in line, isn't happening.
