It sounds like you are saying that your set-up WAS
working fine, but now you have a high swr when
running with your amp. Try inserting an swr meter
between the two to verify the reading on your MK5.
If the reading is high, there is a problem with
the amp. It could be a problem with the amp's
input circuit (tuned or broadband), this is not
likely though.. It could also be a bad tube in the
amp. Also check the transmit/rcv relay in the amp.
