[1000mp] *** EDSP and TX Audio ***

hi dave,

i've been told the 100 to 3100 dsp option for ssb transmit rolls off 
around 80 hz and not much above 3100.   personally i like that limit on 
the low end and of course you can raise it in 50 hz increments as i 
recall.   don't hold me to this but i have some idea the carrier set 
point isn't an issue when the MP is using dsp to generate the ssb sig.  
   the only problem i have with the dsp situation is that the yaesu dsp 
produces tx audio that's a bit degraded to my ears compared to what it 
does with the analog filter method.   it's probably not that big of a 
deal however.
