Coaxial shorted stubs on both radios is one way I have heard multi DX  
stations use.  On the 20 meter radio have a Coaxial Stub for 40 and on the  40 meter 
radio have the 20 meter coaxial stub.  This should be effective as  long as 
the antennas are not too close to each other.
