All of which are used in wide spaced service with relatively strong
point to point signals. Has anyone ever take time to put them on
bench and measure close-in (5 KHz) IMD, filter ultimate rejection
with strong adjacent channel signals (e.g., a -10 dBm signal 1 KHz
away from a -150 dBm signal) and sensitivity/noise floor?
DSP is fine for relatively strong digital signals in a 3 to 10 KHz
bandwidth. I have still not seen a DSP only radio make the grade
for weak signal CW on a band crowded with strong signals.

... Joe, W4TV
