I realize that most phones today are junk. Any suggestions on phones to buy
that are not sensitive to RFI?

Thanks.

You did not say where your G5RV--including the balanced line section-- is
placed relative to your shack. If it is nearby/overhead, or parallel to the
phone lines, you are most likely radiating into your phone lines, and
perhaps directly into the wireless phones.---which are, of course, RADIOS.

Your radio is probably fine. You may need to change antennas or your phones
(most of them are junk).

Help! I recently got back on the air after 25 years and am using a Yaesu
FT-1000MP MK V. When I transmit most of the telephones in the house ring
erratically. They are the wireless remote type. My antenna is a G5RV Jr.

Any ideas on how to remedy this?

Thanks in advance.
