Bill,
You presume correctly. You received a cable with the filter just as you did
with the 70 mHz board. You now have a cable to sell with the 70 mHz board
if you so desire. GL de

Subject: [1000mp] Roofing Filter
I got my roofing filter this afternoon. I had assumed that the installation
instructions would include what to do for the removal of the 70 MHZ
Amplifier mod. I looked and can't find the instructions for the old mod and
I can't seem to find a picture of what the new mod should look like.
The way the instructions read, it appears that the small cable that
currently goes from J2003 to J3/Out on the 70MHZ board now goes from J2003
to J1 on the new Roofing Filter board.
The other cable that comes from the top of the radio somewhere currently
goes to J2/In on the 70 MHZ board. Should this cable be now inserted into J2
on the roofing filter?
This makes the additional new cable provided unnecessary? Can someone that
has done this either point out my error or let me know I'm right?
Bill, W5VX
