[1000mp] FH 1 Question

Hello David,

The initiation of the automatic tuning procedure is a feature only between
the Quadra and the 1000MP. With the Band Data 2 on the Quadra and the Remote
control connection of the MP. Menu 7-9 of the MP has to be set to the
default value "KEYER".

The Band Data 1 connection between the Quadra and FT-1000 (D or MP) is for
the automatic band selection, (fast) T/R control and power on/off control.

I must say that it is a delight working with the Quadra and the MP (I have
the Field since a couple of weeks), by all means. The only minor point of
the Quadra is the noise of the fans; much more then e.g. the Acom and Alpha
linear amplifiers. I put the Power Supply VP-1000 somewhere back/under the
table on the floor. But the VL-1000 produces noise too, especially during
transmissions.
