I was going to correct Mac's statement by replacing his word "some" with
"all", but NI6T (Mr. Shapiro) beat me to it.  Actually, "all 1000s that
have not had one of the key click reduction mods" would be a better
choice of words.

The stock FT-1000xx's key clicks have been discussed many times
previously on this and other reflectors, so there's no need to get into
it again -- check the archives for more info on the subject about the
clicks taking up 5 kHz of the band.

Kudos to those that have done either of the two popular click mods to
make the bands more pleasureable to operate CW in and pox on those who
have not.
