Dear Mr. Shapiro:
    Statements containing the word "all" must be examined with care.
    All FT1000s have not been examined.
    "Key click" has not been defined.  It is not possible to turn on and off
an oscillator without broadening the resultant spectrum.  If one were to
define the inevitable result of on/off keying to be "key clicks," then all
CW transmitters have key clicks.

     I submit that it is not possible for either of us to know that all
1000s have key clicks unless one were to define all CW transmissions to be
accompanied by key clicks.
