G'day Selva:

You need to narrow down your search preferences a
bit, or you'll get a list of *all* the amplifiers
available! The FT-1000MP transceivers will work
with more or less all the amplifiers ever made.

Do you need 1500W output (USA "Kilowatt" limit) or
1000W input? Any need for autotune, or is manual
tune OK for your operating?

At PJ2T, we use an AL-1200, Ten Tec Titan II (now
replaced by the Titan III in their product line),
and a Cary LK-800A (three 3CX800A7). All of these
are 1500W output amplifiers (although we only use
them at 1000W input levels, as that's the power
limit on Curacao. They work fine with our FT-1000MPs.

We also have an assortment of older-generation
ETO/Alpha amps (Alpha 76CA, Alpha 76A, Alpha 78).
All work great with the FT-1000MP transceivers,
and the 8874 tubes seem to last forever at 1000W
input. These amplifiers can often be purchased at
very nice prices, although the tube replacements
are purchased on the used market (with the associated
risk), or are very expensive if new tubes are found.

At home, I use the newer Alpha 91b amps with my MPs.
Also good, and the Svetlana 4CX800A tunes are cheap,
rugged and plentiful on the market.

If money is no option, the autotune amps are good!
