Javi,

Have you adjusted the MONI control to set the monitor level? The monitor for
both CW sidetone and SSB TX monitoring is separate from the receive audio
(AF) control and the level is adjusted independently.

I have used Heil headsets as well as Yaesu and Sony earphones with my 1000mp
and have to set the MONI control to about the 1 o'clock rotation to get
adequate headphone volume for all of them.
