[1000mp] INRAD Roofing Filter for Mark V Field

Yes I just finished the install a couple days ago.  It took about 5 
minutes for the actual installation of the board, perhaps because I 
already had the other amp board it was made easy.  Two wires must be 
soldered on the radio PCB then plugged into the INRAD board.  This is 
for the +5 V to power the little amp.  Magnification, a steady hand and 
a  solder iron with a small clean tip.  Don't forget to ground out any 
static charge you may have.

You shouldent have any trouble.  I found taking the covers off the MKv 
to be more troublesome.  Anyway the whole thing is well worth the 
effort as it does clean up the radio and the SSB audio has not to my 
ears been affected.  I can hear weak signals among strong ones better.
