Fascinating! What entity issued your licence - the US Department of
Commerce? Not even the Federal Radio Commission, precursor of the FCC, was
around then.
Wireless telegraphy must have been a wild free-for-all back then - there
would have been no regulations to speak of. Even the ITU enacted the
International Radio Regulations only in 1913, in response to the
communications mess surrounding the Titanic disaster.
