Rick VE1MM Said:

Sorry for the confusion on my last posting. all I really want to know is
what is the
filter arrangement with a stock mkv/field on the nar1 setting when with menu
5-0 you
use either 8.2-455, 8.2 or 455 to configure the normal position. Any help
from
anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Thomas KN4LF Says:
To select the stock 2.4 kc filter in the 8.2 mc IF, the Collins mechanical
2.4 kc filter in 455 mc IF and 500 hz filter in 8.2 mc IF:

5-0 8.2
5-2 8.2
5-4 455

Download the "MP Filters" software by K6SE and you will have more
flexibility in selecting the filters for different modes of operation
like the original FT-1000MP.
