I made an error. The AF Out was connected to external audio equalizer
(MFJ-616) which seems ok. The line out of sound card went to PKT jack of
Mark V and I haven't checked that yet.
Looking at the schematic the AF Out seems to consist of 4 transistors and
misc parts. Perhaps the transistors are an array in one package?
