I tried the packet port then scrapped that interface since the packet
port is far to limited.
I now use the DVS-2 port instead since it is far more flexible
And Yes, all the filtering still works, and then some.
I also tried the phone patch in jack but that did not mute the Mic
line.
I have found the DVS-2 Port is the most flexible of them all.
(look up the matrix on the control lines you will understand why)
I now have far more functionality then when I just used the packet
port, plus I get all the ability to use my computer as a Voice keyer,
etc.
I did add to the circuit to allow for true FSK keying for RTTY.
I spent a lot of time researching this since the bulk of my operation
is non-voice modes.
