I don't mean to be a pain in the A-- here but will someone please 
explain to me this hiss you are all talking about.  I don't hear it on 
my MKV using CW or any other mode including dsp on or off.  I'm totally 
confused with this issue, but I'd like to identify it.   Are you all 
talking about the noise with the antenna connected or antenna 
disconnected?
