[1000mp] 4 kHz roofing filter

Here is what George told me last month about the filter:


"I have been working on a narrow roofing filter for the MP series of radios
for some time.  I now have a filter which looks like it will work well and
am designing a pc board to hold it along with an amplifier and IN/OUT relay.
The filter bandwidth is 4 kHz and it has 6 poles.  The tests have shown
substantial improvement for close in third order dynamic range.  My time is
very limited, but I hope to have complete information and data at our booth
(Inrad) in Dayton.  The completed product will be for sale afterward.  Don't
ask me how much it will cost, it's too early in the process."
