[1000mp] FT 9000 DX Brochure (NOT FT-2000)

I had heard about the roofing filter mod and plan to order it once the
product is announced as available. My "decrease in value" statement is a
mixture or 'tongue in cheek' and 'wishful thinking' . Like you, my immediate
purchasing plans do not include $10,000 plus radios. I am reminded on what
an audiophile friend once told me , ".. Capturing the last octave of audio
flawlessly in reproduction and playback will cost at least ten times the
amount paid to get all of the other octaves"

I suspect there is some sort of similar law covering HF receivers and
transmitters.
