[1000mp] 1000MP Mark V Field & PSK31/MFSK31/RTTY Via Soundcard

==-except when I push the PKT button the LSB button activates instead of the USB which is the convention for PSK31, even though PSK31 is sideband independent.

Can I change it to PKT USB from present PKT LSB and is it done in menu 8-6? Also what about menu setting "Packet Tone Frequency" 6-5?



This is normal when you look at the front of the radio it will show LSB  if you hold the PKT button till it flashes it will set it up to what you set it up as in the user menu

Enter USER mode on Mark-V as follows:

Hold the PKT button for more than 1 second, then hold FAST+ENT
Rotate VRF/MEM CH knob to get to Menu 8-6 on display
Rotate SUB-VFO B knob to get EASY-SET on display
Rotate MAIN VFO-A knob to get PS31-U for USB, =====================
Rotate SUB-VFO-B knob to get dsp-ofSt
Rotate MAIN VFO-A knob to bring frequency offset to 0.000 (Hz)
Hit ENT to exit



don't do anything to 6-5 that's not required
