Hi Thomas,

I run sound card based RTTY on my MkV and it works just fine. Sound
card audio out goes to the PKT jack on the back of the rig. I don't
recall whether it's the L or R channel of AWE64 Line Out and I don't
recall which pin on the PKT jack it goes to.

Something you might check. If you have a pair of amplified speakers,
plug them into the Line Out and see if you hear anything. If you do but
it's only on one channel, maybe you connected the wrong channel to the
PKT jack.

If you don't hear anything on either channel then your problem is in the
soundcard or further back in the chain.

I presume your DSP S/W uses the Wave channel to send audio to the Tx.
Does the Wave or the Volume Control Mute Box have a check mark in it?
If so, uncheck it. Are both the Wave and Volume Control sliders well up
scale? Does moving the Wave or Volume Control Balance controls do anything?

Just some ideas. Hope they are of some use.
