[1000mp] Mr. Moes, the Yaesu Doctor

While the MP was at Mr. Moes getting a BoTox injection-Extreme Makeover,  to fix a
sticking relay problem he found:

"a resistor on the 70.455 IF amp causing
the IF noise to increase intermittently. I found a
resistor that was never soldered on the board."

For years I was swearing at Com Ed, walking around with a little radio and sledge hammer
beating on utility poles and putting up with what I thought was 'high ambient urban noise
levels'.

I still get noise occasionally, but most of the time now....the s meter is at zero.
