Yep that the tune button.

All that's in the FH-1 is resistors and normal open switches. When you push
a button your grounding one of 12 resistors. On http://www.va3cr.net/ there
is a drawing of the FH-1, its very simple to make a box with a push button
and a resistor that plugs into the field and mimics the pad. I went ahead
and made my own full copy of the pad, but all that is need is one resistor
and a normal open switch. By the way the drawing suggest using high
precision resistors, but normal 1% resistors work just fine.
