Ok guys, I'd get the 'relay' problem now and then.
Especially after a long cw episode of trying to work a DX station.
Stop sending and it didn't 'fully' recover.
Could hear the station weakly, sub receiver seemed normal.
Tap the key for a 'dit' and it would return.
But today's pileups seemed to put it over the top.
Now it does not recover almost every time.
Hitting a 'dit' does not cure it every time.
and
Sometimes hitting a 'dit' will cause it to recover
but then the signals slowly dies down to the faint level.
It then takes a couple more 'dit' attempts to get it back
to full signal strength on receive.
So I heard a good report of a fellow in NC???
I've heard good reports about Burkhardt.
(will they service rigs not bought their?)
Anybody have any other suggestions.
I'm a feared of sending it to Yaesu and getting a
"Never heard of the problem and we can't duplicate it"
I'm open to suggestions, the rubber mallet technique didn't work.
