When you visit sites that talk about Icom radios, and particularly the =
746 and 756 Pro radios, you read as many complaints about those rigs as =
you find here.  Generally, the horror stories are worse, DOA radios form =
the box, failed CRT displays (or whatever they are using), and general =
grumbling.  I don't think I would want to spend the kind of money they =
are talking about for the 7800 for any ham rig.  Buy a Harris receiver.  =
No DSP or fancy filters, because they are not needed.=20
