This isn't rec.radio.amateur.homebrew, but anything that makes life
easier for MP modifiers must be on-topic, right?
A blob of Blu-Tak on the end of a long stick is another good way of
picking up small parts from inaccessible places, or for starting screws
and nuts where fingers and pliers won't reach. It also works for
non-magnetic materials.
Another useful practical tip from an 'In Practice' reader is to make a
periodic harvest of dropped SMD by vacuuming the workbench and floor
with a fine filter over the end of the hose (you can use someone's
tights... but maybe don't tell).
