It is not available for the FT-1000D at this time. When I talked
with George at Dayton he indicated that there had been a good level
of interest in a version for the 1000D and he was considering it.

The FT-1000MP/MKV roofing filter came with a note asking for
user feedback (actual in use reports):

International Radio Corp requests fedback from you on the
operation of this first run of roofin filter mods for the
   FT-1000MP series radios.

Do you notice any improvement in your radio's operation?
Is there a reduction is close by intermodulation?
Do you notice any difference in noise blanker operation?

We are not certain that the level of dynamic range
improvement will actually be noticed by the operator and
want to decide whether to continue with this modification
   for another production run.

Please send an email describing your experiences to
   inrad at rosenet.net

I hope users will also post their experiences on the reflectors
that deal with receiver performance: mailto:topband at contesting.com
mailto:cq-contest at contesting.com and mailto:yaesu at contesting.com.
