Thanks for the email - you have good eyes to pick up the 909.

And you still have an 808 and 303. Wow. Way back like over
17 years ago, I took apart an 808 for a friend who was playing
out with it, and I changed some capacitors which changed the
sound of some cymbals. He was really happy, but it was pure
luck on my part.

That 909 basically sits. I know that it has obtained  a certain
vintage status, and commands a higher price for electronics.
I think that the last that I saw was around $1200. Can I ask,
what did you sell yours for, or, what sort of price are these things
fetching. I might as well sell it, since I've got other drum toys,
and, frankly, they all sound better than the 909.
