[1000mp] Quadra Amp

I doubt that the tuned input of the Quadra amp could counteract the reactance of the G5RV on 80 meters. I've always considered the G5RV to be a compromise antenna but that's just my personal opinion.

I use a 240 foot flat top up at 45 feet and 100 feet of 450 ohm window line to the BALUN of my very old but trusty MFJ-989B. The BALUN handles all reactance's on 160-10 meters without saturation or heating with 800 watts PEP of power. Of course though your mileage may vary.
