[1000mp] Quadra Amp

Yaesu took the trouble to put the following in the operator's manual:

Note: The "G5RV" multiband antenna does not
present an SWR below 3:1 on all HF amateur bands,
despite its reputation as an "all-band" antenna. You will
need to perform additional impedance matching with
respect to the basic G5RV design, especially on 30,
17, and 12 meters.

I suspect they put this in the manual because of problems in matching this
antenna.

Driving me nuts. MP Mark V driving a Quadra. No RF in shack. Both well
grounded. Quality cabling. Inter- Connected by the book. I tune the amp
into my G5RV on 75 meters and it comes out to less than 1.8-1. When I
start talking SSB the amp will kick out with a SWR >3-1 warning before
1/2 a sentence. Even at low power it does it.
