I have a Drake R-4C with all the mods, and it works great.  After the Orion
review in QST came out, I took issue with QST, about stating that this had
never been done before (they qualified it by stating manufacturers) - I
think Sherwood has had the switchable first IF out for over 20 years.  Tom
