Always some question about the difference between the two...Never any
answer.

If it helps any....I did the W8JI mods to my Field this afternoon and the
boards
are the same (at least in the affected areas).  One difference I noted: the
RF board
does NOT come out like his.   It was necessary to take the screws out of
the back
panel and move it for additional clearance.
