I am playing with a new Mark V (four days new.), and so far, so good.  I =
have two question, though. =20

When I attempt to set up the processor the, ALC holds within range but =
the compression meter only shows about 3 db of compression, even when I =
put in enough to hear distortion in the headset monitoring side tone. =
Adjusting compression to what sounds good in side tone gives me good =
reports on the air. Do I have a problem or am I doing something stupid?=20

I am also adjusting power to peak at about 150 watts.  Any comment on =
what is a good peak power setting for SSB? =20
